About the Role

As an Immigration Specialist at DNEG, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the immigration process. This includes communicating with employees, gathering application documents, reviewing files, and submitting applications. You will be responsible for a range of business immigration cases from inception to resolution and will provide industry-leading service to employees by offering timely and clear immigration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent support to employees by offering legal support and strategy throughout the process.
  • Prepare and file initial submissions, re-submissions, of forms, responses, and suggestions.
  • Effectively communicate and provide regular updates to employees at all stages of the process.
  • Improve the process by providing active and regular inputs/modifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in immigration-related laws and international regulations.
  • Manage employee travel and stay arrangements to ensure a positive experience for employees traveling from abroad.
  • Work closely with the HR and Engagement teams to coordinate various in-house activities.
  • Be the single point of contact for management for internal arrangements during travel, meetings, and other important occasions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of business immigration experience as an Immigration Specialist.
  • Good reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to function independently with limited handholding.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of leading an entire immigration team and process in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of immigration processes for countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Spain.
