Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Elliot Group. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for machining a variety of parts with multiple setups, selecting tooling, and planning roughing and finishing operations to meet customer specifications and needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manual or CNC lathes to machine parts to precise specifications.
  • Select and install tooling, fixtures, and other equipment as needed.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections and record results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of machine equipment, machining operations, and quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth production and meet customer deadlines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience with rotating turbo machinery.
  • Rigging capabilities.
  • Machining capabilities on manual or CNC lathes.
  • Experience with turbines, compressors, and/or other rotating equipment.
