User Experience Designer

Emireq is seeking a skilled UI Designer to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

  • Create intuitive and impactful user experiences across the platform.
  • Craft clean, modern interfaces for web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, an understanding of Islamic finance principles, and the ability to translate complex features into simple designs.

The User Interface Designer will be responsible for:

  1. Designing responsive web and mobile UI screens for dashboards (Super Admin, Startup, Investor).
  2. Collaborating with developers to implement pixel-perfect UI designs using design tools.
  3. Ensuring design consistency across all modules.
  4. Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features.
  5. Working closely with the UX team to improve user journeys and simplify workflows.
  6. Developing design systems, style guides, and component libraries for scalability.
  7. Incorporating Islamic design aesthetics where appropriate.
  8. Conducting design reviews and iterating based on feedback from stakeholders.

The requirements for this role are:

  • Proven experience as a UI Designer (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles for both desktop and mobile.
  • Experience designing dashboards, financial/fintech platforms, or SaaS products.
  • Knowledge of UX best practices, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks on a part-time schedule.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The nice-to-have qualifications are:

  • Experience with Islamic finance platforms or culturally aware design.
  • Familiarity with React, Tailwind CSS, or frontend frameworks (to hand off designs effectively).
  • Knowledge of 3D UI/Metaverse interfaces.
  • Ability to create design assets (icons, illustrations, micro-animations).
