Senior Baggage Systems Designer

This role involves the design and planning of baggage handling systems, passenger boarding bridges, and air cargo terminals.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field and experience with system design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop designs for baggage handling systems, including check-in conveyors, sortation, makeup, and reclaim systems.
- Analyze capacity and perform equipment sizing for BHS and cargo systems based on passenger and cargo forecasts.
- Support the development of operational concepts for baggage and cargo processes.
- Collaborate with architects and structural engineers to integrate aviation systems within the terminal and apron design.
- Use BIM (Revit) and AutoCAD to produce and update system layouts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
- 0–3 years of experience in aviation systems design or relevant engineering fields.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
