Cloud Operations Engineer Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our company as a Cloud Operations Engineer.

Job Description

The primary role of the Cloud Operations Engineer is to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based systems. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based applications using containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of cloud-based applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cloud operations and management.
  • Proven experience with AWS services and tools such as EC2, S3, and CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with distributed systems and large-scale system architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and strategies for cost optimization in multi-cloud environments.
