Job Title:

 

To spearhead a Java Spring Boot development team, we are seeking an experienced and technically strong developer with exceptional leadership skills. This role requires someone who can assume ownership of backend systems, make key architectural decisions, and guide junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend systems using Java Spring Boot.
  • Take complete ownership of system architecture, design, and technology decisions.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers through regular code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ensure code quality, security, performance, and maintainability across all services.
  • Be accountable for end-to-end delivery, from planning and estimation to deployment and monitoring.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and scalable architecture design.
  • Proven experience in leading development efforts and making architectural decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned responsibilities.
