Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with distributed storage systems, container orchestration, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient cloud-based infrastructure for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Documentation: Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.

The role involves working with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments is beneficial.
