Program Director of Mass Entrepreneurship Initiatives

At The Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), we are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our local entrepreneurship initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of entrepreneurship ecosystems in India, fostering widespread job creation and prosperity.
About the RoleThe Program Manager - Local Entrepreneurship will play a vital role in coordinating and managing programs, ensuring effective stakeholder management, providing support to the Mission Director in facilitating mobilization and marketing support to partners, and ensuring adherence to partner budgets with strong liaison, coordination, and communication. The ideal candidate should have expertise in project management, larger scale program management, and experience in areas such as MIS, documentation, communication, and liaison with private sector entities and government agencies.
Responsibilities:- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with various key stakeholders involved in program implementation, including partner organizations, government agencies, community representatives, and other relevant entities.
- Project Management: Utilize project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor alliance-driven projects. Develop project plans, track progress, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and ensure effective coordination and communication among stakeholders.
- MIS and Documentation: Develop and maintain a robust Management Information System (MIS) to collect, analyze, and report program-related data. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of program activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Marketing & Go-Live Support to Partners: Provide guidance and support to partner organizations in implementing marketing strategies, and promoting program activities.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics field. A postgraduate degree or certification in project management, public administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in program management, entrepreneurship ecosystem development, or managing initiatives related to MSMEs.
- Experience in promoting entrepreneurship, working with MSMEs, microfinance, or facilitating credit access for underserved populations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and oversee programs and initiatives effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Good understanding of MSME and entrepreneurship development sectors with knowledge of challenges and policies involved affecting the micro as well as small category enterprises.
We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history. The compensation range for this position is ₹40-60 lakhs per annum, depending on the selected candidate's profile.
