Senior Electric Motor Requirements Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electric Motor Requirements Engineer to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and specifying the technical requirements of electric motors used in various applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the requirements of electric motors in series and platform projects
- Design and coordinate requirement standardization and platform projects
- Act as a technical contact/specialist for E-Motor requirement descriptions in projects
- Represent requirements topics to other groups and line managers
- Collaborate in project teams and assume tasks
- Plan and conduct reviews
- Ensure systematic and process-oriented work approach
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable field of study
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the development of electric machines and/or their peripherals
- Knowledge of requirements management including relevant tools
- Knowledge in the design of electric machines and/or their peripherals
- Understanding of automotive technology requirements, as well as knowledge of relevant standards, is advantageous
