Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.

The Software Development Engineer in Test will be responsible for collaborating with development teams to understand requirements, design test cases, and integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline. They will also be responsible for writing efficient, reusable, and scalable code using languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in software testing and automation. They will also have strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages, as well as experience with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or RestAssured.

In addition to technical skills, the Software Development Engineer in Test will need to have good communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Desirable Skills and Certifications
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, Certified Agile Tester, or Certified Selenium Professional.
