This job posting is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer position with a global technology leader.

We are looking to hire a talented engineer to join a high-impact migration project that aims to modernize our legacy platform. The primary focus of this role will be migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS, while also driving code refactoring, upgrades, security, and resilience improvements, monitoring, and other operational enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Production Systems: Build and maintain highly available, resilient, and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate Legacy UI Systems: Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade Java Applications: Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test and Quality Assurance: Test, document, and otherwise quality-proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs.
  • Cycle Deployment Optimization: Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution.
  • Production Support: Support production deployments, operations, and maintenance activities.
  • Metrics Monitoring: Monitor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
  • Agile Collaboration: Follow agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate inside and outside the team engaging with other engineering teams, product managers, support, and security teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Programming Knowledge: Excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
  • JavaScript Expertise: Excellent knowledge and experience working with JavaScript and related frameworks.
  • CI/CD Practices: Experience with CI/CD practices, build, and deployment technologies.
  • REST API: Experience working with REST APIs.
  • AWS Infrastructure: Experience working in production with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  • Security Concepts: Understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This role requires strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Jenkins, and AWS Cloud.
