Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to lead and support deployments in large-scale data center environments with expertise in Cisco technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mastery of the entire lifecycle of data center infrastructure: planning, designing, implementing, and migrating.
  • Leadership and support for deployments in Cisco ACI environments, including single-site, multi-site, and multi-pod configurations.
  • Deployment and support for Cisco Nexus architectures such as 3-tier, collapsed core, and VXLAN with L2/L3 stretch and DCI.
  • Implementation and management of compute infrastructures like Cisco UCS and MDS.
  • Expert-level support for Cisco Routing and Switching infrastructure to ensure stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Administration of Nexus Dashboard and integration with monitoring/telemetry tools.
  • Management of VXLAN/EVPN overlays in large-scale data center environments.
  • Collaboration with clients to understand network requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintenance of high documentation standards and engagement in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in data center technologies.
  • Proficiency in Cisco ACI configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge in data centre networking, virtualization, and SDN.
  • Expertise in Nexus (models 2K, 5K, 7K, 9K), UCS, VXLAN, DCI, and network security.
  • Solid grasp of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, with robust network security measures.
  • Certifications such as CCNP (DC) or CCIE (DC) are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in customer-facing roles, delivering technical solutions and engaging with clients.
  • Deep knowledge in virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
  • Good leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
