About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on Azure Databricks.

Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure Databricks, Python scripting, and data warehousing. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Azure Databricks is a fast, easy, and collaborative Apache Spark-based analytics platform optimized for Microsoft Azure. It provides a fully-managed service that allows customers to create lakes, warehouses, and marts with just a few clicks.

The right candidate will have experience working with ETL methods and retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses. They will also have a strong understanding of relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL.

In addition, our ideal candidate will have knowledge of Azure architecture and design. They will be able to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-12 years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong experience in Azure Databricks, Python scripting, and data warehousing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of Azure architecture and design
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
