Backend Software Development Expert

We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to spearhead our migration from a legacy .NET monolith to a cutting-edge, event-driven architecture using Java Spring Boot microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop: Architect, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java Spring Boot microservices with an emphasis on reliability and observability.
  • Legacy Code Migration: Analyze existing .NET code that integrates with our platform, comprehend its business logic, and lead its migration to the new Java stack.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Decommission our legacy .NET message broker and implement a modern event-driven system leveraging cloud-native technologies like Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Cloud-Native Solutions: Develop and deploy services utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, including Cloud Functions, Spanner, and Firestore.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development, focusing on enterprise-level systems with strong technical expertise.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework, as well as knowledge of .NET (C#).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically with services like Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Spanner, and/or Firestore.
