Site Financial Operations Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Site Financial Operations Controller. This position plays a critical part in setting up new sites, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency throughout the operational setup. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure strategic alternatives and summarize key insights from complex analyses.
The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to support business decisions, focusing on loss-making and underperforming businesses to identify revenue and cost leakages.
This role requires a high level of expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and risk assessment, with experience in local tax rules and compliance a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:- Governance of Profit and Loss (PnL): Ensure accurate gross profit is reflected in the PnL, at total entity/country level down to job/shipment level.
- Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks originated from operational processes impacting receivables and payables.
- Validation of Accruals: Make final validation of monthly accruals and overall result.
- Bridge between Operations and Finance: Ensure quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of revenue and cost updates in system by execution teams.
- Risk and Compliance Assessment: Perform risk and compliance assessment as required in the RICC Manual, within BCO scope.
- Min 10 years working experience in finance and accounting.
- Chartered Accountant /MBA degree.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
- Working knowledge on Warehouse business is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially spreadsheet and presentation tools.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Analytical, strong planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
