About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and endlessly curious Full-Stack Software Developer to join one of our growing feature development teams. As a member of this team, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver a world-class product to our users.

This role requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India. To accommodate time zone differences, you will be expected to work from 11 AM - 7:30 PM IST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with a team of developers to build end-to-end features from scratch.
  • Collaborating closely with our Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment to bring features to life and iterate on them based on our customers' feedback.
  • Using your knowledge of full-stack development to support the team where needed, whether frontend or backend.
  • Participating in all Scrum rituals, including planning, backlog grooming, sprint review, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Contributing to the transition of our application to a service-based architecture.
  • Squashing bugs as they arise due to your focus on quality software.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Understanding of web applications with foundational development experience in both backend and frontend.
  • A desire and ability to learn and grow, as this team is senior in its makeup and offers a great learning opportunity.
  • The ability to collaborate well in a team environment and work towards a common goal.
  • A 'get it done' attitude, but understanding the difference between smart shortcuts and risky ones.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $100,000-$120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
