Shipbuilding Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture and experience in building digital solutions for the shipping industry.

The successful candidate will work closely with our data scientists to develop innovative digital solutions for container ships, focusing on areas such as fuel consumption-power curves, vessel hydrodynamic performance models, and predictive models for rolling in rough sea weather conditions.

• Minimum 12-20 years of experience in naval architecture, including ship design, vessel digital twin, and fuel performance curves
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in conceptualising and building Container Vessel fuel consumption curves and other ship hydrodynamic performance models
• Excellent knowledge of data science subjects, including simulation, optimisation, and machine learning models
• Strong consulting skills, including leadership in uncertain and ambiguous situations, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
