Job Overview

Rain Industries seeks a skilled Internal Audit Manager to join its Global Internal Audit team.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive audit programs in line with the audit plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct audits/reviews in accordance with Standard Audit Programs, testing templates, and auditable activities, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Support coordination and engagement with clients/business units on meetings and fieldwork, achieving mutual understanding and finalizing action plans.
  • Ensure documentation of all audit work papers in compliance with established procedures and audit quality standards, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Provide consultative support to business units on Enterprise Risk Management Framework implementation and Control Self-Assessments, reviewing programs for adequacy and recommending enhancements.
  • Support business teams in enhancing control awareness through Governance, Risk, and Compliance/Business Process Controls training programs, providing constructive feedback on observations.
  • Participate in Forensic Audits/Fraud Investigations, reporting results and recommending corrective actions, upholding integrity and trust.
  • Offer independent guidance to business units on compliance requirements and best practices in Internal Controls, ERM, and Audit areas, fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (and/or) Cost & Management Accountant, with relevant Internal Audit experience (and/or) Certified Internal Auditor, possessing strong technical expertise.
  • 7-10 years of Internal Audit Experience, demonstrating leadership skills and strategic thinking.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in Manufacturing/Process industry preferred, showcasing adaptability and versatility.
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience of Accounting Standards (Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS), applying knowledge to drive decision-making.
  • Exposure to accepted practices of Accounting Consolidation, financial preparation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Forensic Reviews/Fraud Investigations experience (Preferred), highlighting analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exposure/hands-on experience on SAP and highly skilled in MS Office package, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
  • Tech-savvy, good understanding of Database Systems and ability to effectively employ technology, staying ahead of the curve.
