Game Development and AI Engineering Role

About the Job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for utilizing our proprietary AI toolchain to generate, iterate, and evaluate new games and mini-apps on a daily basis. This role requires a unique blend of creative and analytical skills, as you will be both designing and critiquing your own work, as well as that of your peers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engaging games and apps using our AI toolchain
  • Conduct self-evaluations and rating of your own work, providing detailed feedback on areas for improvement
  • Participate in peer review, playing, ranking, and annotating the work of fellow team members to drive excellence
  • Develop and maintain prompt playbooks, distilling successful strategies into reusable templates and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve technical issues through concise bug/UX reports
  • Monitor engagement metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize retention

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience working with Generative AI (ChatGPT, DALL-E/Midjourney, LLM chains)
  • Strong understanding of gaming principles and ability to articulate why something is enjoyable or not
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Ability to ruthlessly eliminate underperforming ideas and focus on high-potential projects
  • Bonus: basic proficiency in code (light JS/Lua/React), marketing (Instagram/Twitter fluency), or data (basic SQL) would be advantageous
