About the Role:

The AI Engineering team is at the heart of transforming how millions of people access personalized nutrition and care. From building conversational experiences and predictive models to optimizing personalized outreach, the team integrates intelligent systems across the entire member journey.

The Senior AI Engineer will play a critical role in designing and deploying solutions that drive real-world impact—like tailoring communications, improving engagement, and reducing missed appointments.

You will develop scalable backend applications using TypeScript, modeling frameworks, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.

You will build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable real-time and batch inference of AI/ML models.

You will fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models (e.g., LLMs, classification models) for specific business use cases.

You will integrate external AI services where appropriate.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features.

You will contribute to MLOps workflows, including deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.

You will follow engineering best practices for clean code, testing, observability, and reliability.

You will stay up to date with advancements in AI tooling and infrastructure to continuously improve system performance and model impact.

You have a strong background in software development, experience delivering production-grade services, and familiarity with deploying and integrating ML models into applications.

You are a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, detail-oriented, and proactive about writing secure, maintainable, and scalable code.

You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Key Responsibilities:
