ServiceNow CMDB Developer

Ap ricot Jam, a leading technology and outsourcing company, is seeking a skilled ServiceNow developer to join our team. As an experienced ServiceNow partner, we deliver innovative solutions across various modules. In this role, you will work on complex development tasks within the CMDB environment, focusing on configuration, customization, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize the ServiceNow CMDB to meet project requirements, including data models, schemas, and relationships between Configuration Items (CIs).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implement data migration and population strategies, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to best practices.
• Design and develop integration solutions for CMDB with systems like ITSM, SNOW Discovery, Axonius, Dynatrace, Qualys, and other tools to ensure smooth data flow.
• Provide technical solutions for CMDB issues, implementing best practices in ServiceNow CMDB processes.
• Conduct validation, unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure functionality and performance.
• Assist in creating technical documentation and user guides for configurations and customizations.
• Participate in deployment and post-deployment support, troubleshooting issues, and improving processes.
• Collaborate with service providers, internal teams, and other developers to ensure successful CMDB implementations within project timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB development, including advanced configuration and customization.
• Solid understanding of ITIL practices, particularly Configuration Management.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB data modeling, ETL processes, and integration with other tools.
• Proficiency with scripting in ServiceNow and knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to data accuracy and integrity.
• Effective communication skills to work with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to solving complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications.
• Experience collaborating with architects and contributing to design decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
