We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the Asset Accounting department.

Position: Asset Accounting

Location: Mumbai & Gift city

About the Role:

Our organization is a rapidly growing and fully regulated entity, established with a strong focus on asset servicing. We cater to offshore investment managers, institutional investors, and accredited investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculation
  2. Manual profit/loss and NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with Geneva outputs
  3. Processing and valuation of private equity, bonds, forwards, swaps, and other complex instruments
  4. Daily cash and position reconciliations with brokers and custodians
  5. Preparing and reviewing accounting entries in Geneva software
  6. Managing end-to-end fund accounting and investment operations for assigned clients
  7. Handling multi-currency portfolio accounting, income and expense accruals, and dividend processing
  8. Preparation of financial statements as per US GAAP / IFRS
  9. Coordinating with auditors and supporting year-end audit and financial closure
  10. Producing accurate and timely investor capital statements and internal rate of return (IRR) calculations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working on Geneva software (Advent Geneva preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles, with a focus on private equity and alternative assets
  • Hands-on experience with bonds, swaps, forwards, and other derivative instruments
  • Solid understanding of GAV/NAV methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and manual calculation skills
  • Familiarity with global accounting/reporting standards (US GAAP, IFRS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
