Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Specialist

Job Description:

A biomedical equipment specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and accuracy of medical devices used for patient care.

They install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair medical equipment such as patient monitors, ventilators, X-ray machines, and ultrasound equipment. This includes performing routine and complex troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Strong technical skills in electronics are required for maintaining and repairing medical equipment.
  • Medical Equipment Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of medical equipment and its operation is essential for effective maintenance and repair.
  • Field Service Experience: Previous experience in field service is preferred for this role.
  • Military Training: Military training in relevant technical skills is a plus for this position.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are necessary for identifying and resolving issues with medical equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for this role.
Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is required for this position.
