We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team at Wolters Kluwer (India) Private Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to utilize their skills and expertise in software development, quality assurance, and customer-facing documentation.
About the RoleThis role will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, correctness, and overall quality of CCH Axcess Tax and CCH ProSystem FX Tax software. The successful candidate must have experience working with tax authorities, conducting tax research, and providing clarification and interpretation to the software development team.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax software, including government forms and electronic filings.
- Work closely with tax authorities to obtain approval for government forms and associated electronic filing.
- Provide on-time resolution for high-priority forms and assist junior team members in resolving complex issues.
- Identify discrepancies, anomalies, or potential risks in tax data, calculations, or filings and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of US tax experience, preferably with multiple tax return types (e.g., 1040, 1120, 1065, 1041, 990 etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of US tax experience, preferably with state tax returns.
- Good understanding of CCH Axcess Tax and/or CCH ProSystem FX Tax software.
- Experience with XML and e-filing is a plus.
- Form testing and defect writing experience is also beneficial.
Estimated Salary: ₹900,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum based on qualifications and location.
