Job Title: Strategic Investment Researcher

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support investment decisions and monitor investments made into startups and privately held US companies.

  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and industry deep-dives on startups and private companies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to inform investment choices.
  • Develop investment memos, pitch decks, and reports for internal review.
  • Track portfolio company performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare monitoring dashboards.
  • Assist with due diligence, including financial, operational, and market assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team in the US, ensuring alignment with their time zone.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
  • Flexibility to work in the US time zone (EST/PST overlap).
