Job Summary:

  1. Conduct comprehensive process trainings for coding specialists to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge and skills.
  2. Provide floor support to coders during transitions to guarantee quality standard maintenance throughout the ramp-up period.
  3. Deliver focused trainings for quality improvement based on error findings to enhance overall performance.
  4. Publish regular articles/updates on Healthcare to foster a culture of continuous learning among coders.
  5. Ensure timely completion of onboarding compliance trainings for new hires as per Global and client requirements.
  6. Participate in client calls, meetings, and knowledge transfer sessions as necessitated by the role.
  7. Lead training sessions on current updates in the medical coding field for US-based healthcare systems to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
  8. Train coders on US healthcare systems, including its updates, as per established protocols.
  9. Develop presentations, learning materials, handbooks, and other required training materials to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.

Job Specification:

  1. Profound understanding of coding processes, coding system software, and workflow management is essential.
  2. A basic comprehension of medical terminology, body systems/anatomy, physiology, and disease processes concepts is crucial.
  3. Candidates must hold Coding Certification like CPC / CCS / COC / AHIMA to demonstrate expertise.
  4. Applicants should have a degree with at least 3 years of Home Health experience in medical coding.
  5. Training/coaching/mentoring experience is highly desirable.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.
