Job Overview:

Highly skilled Backend Engineers with expertise in API development and Azure cloud skills are sought to build and optimize highly available, secure, and scalable API endpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs using designated programming languages such as .Net.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between internal/external systems and the Azure cloud environment.
  • Onboard external systems to integrate with the API framework for data exchange in batch/real-time modes.

Technical Expertise:

  • Expert-level coding skills in RESTful API development in .Net, including clean architecture, modularized programming, and relevant standards.
  • Develop integration pipelines to push/pull data from Azure Blob Storage, Microsoft Fabric, and other sources.
  • Implement authentication and authorization of external data providers and consumers.
  • Optimize API performance, implement proper exception handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Integrate authentication via OAuth/Entra ID, and API Gateway design using Azure APIM.
  • Familiarity with PySpark and data engineering pipelines is a plus.
