Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician to lead the effort in developing, assigning and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. The role will support asset reliability by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategy. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will oversee the equipment strategy assignment, collaborate with team members, and ensure project success.


Purpose & Accountabilities:
  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technicians with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.
