Job Title: Polarion Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the configuration, customization, and rollout of Polarion ALM solutions across systems engineering domains.

The ideal candidate will bring expert-level Polarion configuration skills, combined with strong domain expertise in the V-model, automotive or battery system development, and experience working in SAFe-based agile teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and tailor Polarion ALM to support project-specific requirements, test planning, validation, release, and documentation workflows.
  • Design and implement processes, workflows, traceability matrices, and custom templates aligned with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and quality frameworks.
  • Lead the rollout of Polarion solutions across international teams, including training, documentation, and end-user support.
  • Develop and maintain test concepts, oversee test operations, and provide second- and third-level support for Polarion tool-related issues.
  • Manage safety-relevant documentation and ensure regulatory traceability for compliance in automotive/battery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment following the SAFe framework (10-week Program Increments).
  • Support and coach users across departments (Engineering, Quality, IT) to effectively utilize Polarion features for their use cases.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Polarion-based ALM processes through feedback, automation, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Domain Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model methodologies for requirements engineering, validation, change management, and release planning.
  • Experience working in the automotive and/or battery system development sectors is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434.

Agile & Communication Skills:

  • Proven experience in SAFe-based agile teams, including participation in PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-team coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to train, support, and mentor international, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience creating training materials, leading user workshops, and managing change across distributed teams.
