Mainframe Assembler Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Assembler specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for working on complex problems, analyzing data, and evaluating factors to deliver high-quality results.

This role requires strong knowledge in assembler technologies, debugging code, and coding using abstract design principles. The ideal candidate should have experience with algorithms and data structures, as well as exposure to third-party development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in mainframe application technologies (COBOL, CICS, DB2, etc.) to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain efficient assembler code, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Analyze and debug complex issues, applying problem-solving skills to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in mainframe application and database technologies.
  • 7+ Years of Development experience in mainframe assembler coding, preferably with expertise in Windows or Linux assembler.
  • Candidates with experience using cutting-edge development tools in JAVA are desirable.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required.
Skills Required:
  • Expert-level proficiency in mainframe application technologies (COBOL, CICS, DB2, etc.).
  • Extensive experience coding in mainframe Assembler, with a strong focus on debugging, builds, and rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, with the ability to apply them in complex situations.
  • Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
