Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our team. As a senior software engineer in test, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality automated tests and ensuring the stability of our core technologies.

You will be responsible for creating test documentation, defining test scope, identifying risks, and improving QA processes. Your expertise will also be utilized to support other team members, lead technical discussions, and provide mentorship to junior testers.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • At least 3 years of experience in test automation
  • Experience working with Playwright or Selenium
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques and strong experience with manual testing, as well as some experience in non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to apply them in a practical way
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Experience with API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers
  • Hands-on experience with Databases/Advanced Excel is a plus
  • Experience working with large datasets or customer bases is a plus
  • Root cause analysis and test reporting skills
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services like Rollbar/New Relic, and test design
  • Programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, test planning, and QA strategy
  • Knowledge of Python and Java is an added advantage
