About The Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in threat analysis, incident response, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
  2. Monitor threat intelligence feeds and industry sources to enhance organisational threat awareness.
  3. Lead and participate in incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  4. Conduct post-incident analysis to identify lessons learned and improve response strategies.
  5. Utilise advanced security tools and technologies to monitor networks, systems, and applications.
  6. Investigate and respond to security alerts, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  7. Review and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and assess security weaknesses.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise and address identified vulnerabilities.
  9. Perform forensic analysis to investigate security incidents and breaches.
  10. Preserve and analyse digital evidence, ensuring legal and investigative requirements are met.
  11. Conduct in-depth research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  12. Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  13. Evaluate and communicate potential security risks to key stakeholders.
  14. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  15. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, network, and system administrators.
  16. Provide clear and concise communication of threat intelligence to technical and non-technical audiences.
  17. Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and cybersecurity advancements.
  18. Attend relevant conferences, training sessions, and webinars.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
