Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Staff Engineer, you will play a key role in driving engineering standards, identifying improvement opportunities, and enhancing technical solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop end-to-end data-centric solutions that address customers' core business objectives. This includes leading or participating in defining, executing, and communicating ETL strategies and technical solutions.

Additionally, you will work with business users, data management staff, and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to client guidelines and industry standards. You will also contribute to agile project lifecycle (ideation through implementation).

In this role, you will design technical solutions for business requirements, leveraging approved delivery frameworks. You will adhere to the Code of Conduct and promote robust, secure, and highly available solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in ETL pipeline building with Spark or Scala programming framework and knowledge in developing UNIX Shell Script, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, Cloudera Hadoop (Apache Spark, Hive), and Autosys JIL.
  • Experience in Big data platform for ETL development with AWS cloud platform.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and Cloud Watch.
  • Knowledge of Teradata data warehouses and proficiency across Enterprise Analytics/BI/DW/ETL technologies such as Teradata Control Framework and Tableau.
