We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Draftsman to join our team at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D piping drawings using Autodesk's AutoCAD, with a focus on oil & gas projects in our Pune office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 2D Piping layout drawings, including plans, sections, and isometric views, based on engineering designs and specifications.
  • Prepare piping deliverables from available 2D sketches or reference XREF drawings, requiring sufficient experience and knowledge of oil and gas piping.
  • Develop detailed design drawings and 2D/3D models according to given sketches, P&ID's, layout, and specifications under the direction of the engineering team.
  • Extract and prepare Equipment layout drawings, Piping GAD's, Pipe Support GAD'S, Safety layouts, Special Pipe Supports.
  • Gain experience in Oil & Gas Brownfield and Greenfield facility projects.
  • Exposure to Design Basis, P&ID, Stress calculation methods, and MTO.
  • Knowledge of ASME & API piping codes.
  • Advantageous ADNOC Project background.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certification in Mechanical, Chemical, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a Piping Draftsman, with expertise in both 2D and 3D AutoCAD.
  • Good knowledge of all general piping design, developing experience in piping layout and phases of plot plan development.
  • Exposure to Smart Plant 3D (S3D), Revit & AutoCAD Plant 3D advantageous.
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas, Mining, and mineral beneficiation preferred.
