Job Description:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for Process Packages, Skids, Engineered Solutions, and Modular Plants. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project engineering documents and ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, engineer, and detail engineering for Process Packages, Skids, Engineered Solutions, and Modular Plants
  • Coordinate multidiscipline teams to deliver project engineering documents
  • Review P&ID, Isometric drawings, GAD & Alignment Drawings
  • Prepare and review Mechanical design basis, MDS, MRs, Design Reports, GAs, Fab drawings, interfacing design, loading data, lifting arrangement, transportation arrangement, etc.
  • Collaborate with design and project teams to resolve issues and execute projects
  • Develop engineering practices and standards for standardization
  • Accountable for own design drawings and models
  • Generate equipment fabrication drawings and bills of materials
  • Plan work according to overall project schedule with manager
  • Support Bid Management with 3D layouts, general arrangement drawings, weight estimations
  • Work on package design configurations within engineering and provide unified engineering solutions considering internal design guidelines and project requirements
  • Create and maintain technical specifications, engineering work instructions, and Best Practices documents for modeling, drafting, and design
  • Prevent non-conformances through innovation and cost-effective solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You must have hands-on experience in NFPA 14, 20, 16, 15 codes and experience in fire-fighting piping and Skid system design, especially in Foam skid, Deluge skids, Bladder tank systems, and Chemical injection packages. Familiarity with International Design codes and Dimensional standards, including ANSI/ASME, API, BS, ASTM is also required. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with ASME vessel and stress analysis and experience working in projects for clients like ARAMCO, SABIC, ADNOC, IOCL, HPCL, etc.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of designing pipe layouts for oil and gas industry projects using International Codes and Standards
  • Understanding of product-structure, design, calculations, and specifications and their impact on costs related to Engineering and Manufacturing
