Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services.

This involves the development, deployment, and maintenance of highly available, scalable storage and container orchestration systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Desirable Skills:

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph, ZFS, and NFS storage technologies. Experience working with customer engineering teams on cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives, is beneficial. Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.) is also advantageous.
