Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering, with 35 years of experience in managing construction projects from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily site activities to ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare and verify bar bending schedules; ensure reinforcement and shuttering are executed as per design.
  • Inspect and verify formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing works for quality compliance.
  • Conduct site surveys using total station & auto level; verify dimensions, levels, and alignments.
  • Plan and allocate daily and next-day work to site teams, following strict project timelines and milestones.
  • Report regularly to the Project Manager on site progress, issues, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and discipline engineers to resolve site issues.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, safety protocols, and project specifications.
  • Verify measurements, quantities, and contractor bills for accuracy.
  • Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material consumption, and manpower records.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 35 years of experience in building construction projects (hospitality, healthcare, residential, or commercial).
  • Strong technical knowledge in steel work, BBS, shuttering, RCC, and finishing works.
  • Hands-on experience in site execution, surveying (total station & auto level), and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site survey instruments.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, timelines, and teamwork.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
