Career Opportunity:

The Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) role requires a seasoned engineer to provide proactive incident and problem resolution for cloud-based services. This position involves managing tickets of high complexity, conducting advanced tasks, and ensuring zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive identification and resolution of cloud-based incidents and problems
  • Maintaining high levels of service through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, product reviews, operational improvements, practices, and quality assurance
  • Managing complex projects with considerable judgment and independent analysis within defined policies and practices
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions
  • Contributing to project work as required

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience with relevant experience of 4+ years in GCP
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture
  • Deployment of cloud services using Terraform
  • Defining and configuring alert thresholds as directed by the Cloud CoE
  • Monitoring incidents triggered and responding to relevant teams basis RCA
  • Report generation and data submission basis requirements raised by various teams
  • Implementation of cloud security controls as directed by Info-Sec team
  • Follow-up for audit and compliance point closure post implementation
  • Cloud process automation and standardization
  • Golden AMI creation and patching of golden images
  • Updating AMI access across accounts for latest image deployment
  • Detailed understanding of cloud (IaaS and PaaS) industry and associated technologies
  • Deep understanding of service management best practices frameworks such as ITIL
  • Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills and ability to manage complex technical projects
  • Good communication skills and ability to develop relationships with customer external stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of network & security, data center architecture
  • Professional cloud certifications preferred
