Key Managerial Role

Hiring for this position involves identifying a highly skilled professional to oversee the development and implementation of strategic risk management plans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing functional audits, tracking and monitoring internal audit observations, and providing input to the risk management function.

  • Develop and maintain internal audit standards operating procedures (SOP), including templates, protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Create a repository of audit programs, checklists, templates, and tools to standardize and improve audit process quality and efficiency.
  • Support the identification and finalization of vendors for execution of program activities.
  • Lead execution of internal audit plans in accordance with approved audit committees.
  • Track, monitor, and report status of open internal audit observations every month.
  • Partner and support risk management function to identify and assess entity and functional level risks.
  • Provide inputs for new emerging risks identified during internal audit program execution.
  • Monitor risk mitigation steps and calibrate internal audit procedures accordingly.
  • Leverage output from other programs as 2nd line of defense for internal audit planning and execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Education:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.

Desired Education:

CIA, CISA, or CWA certification.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in implementing and delivering risk management at strategic and operational levels.

Proven experience undertaking audits across diverse organizational areas.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface and influence all levels of management.
