Job Description

Covenant Consultants is seeking a skilled Net Backend Dev to join our team. As a key member of our IT Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern software solutions to meet customer needs.



Key Responsibilities


  • Design scalable products using best coding practices and open-source software platforms.
  • Write code for web applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks, coding REST APIs, and integrating apps with cloud platforms such as Azure or third-party APIs.
  • Participate in product assessment meetings and offer suggestions for enhancements.
  • Create novel user-facing functions and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Identify prospective issues and improvement opportunities for applications and processes, with a focus on usability, performance, and security.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and component standards.
  • Deploy applications on Azure or comparable platforms.
  • Coordinate with the product team to develop applications according to specifications.
  • Lead the technical design solution conversation, select appropriate frameworks for the business solution, and consistently implement design patterns.
  • Manage a team of developers, QAs, BAs, Scrum Masters, and set the growth path for the team.


Qualifications


  • At least 3 years of experience as a senior developer and technical lead implementing .NET based applications using C# and .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ADO.NET and others).
  • Expertise with the entire software development infrastructure.
  • Ability to provide concise status on all IT team activities and progress.
  • Analysis of business requirements, processes, data, and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Designing, coding, testing, documenting, and deploying global applications based on system and user requirements.
  • Strong integration development and support experience.
  • Implementation experience in Microservices architecture.
  • Extensive experience in developing solutions with Azure functions, Logic App, Service Bus queues and Topics, Application insights, and GitHub.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Git, NuGet, and BICEP technologies.
  • Knowledge of ORM, API Gateway, API management, and cloud services integration.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and MySQL.
  • Hands-on implementation of NoSQL like MongoDB.
  • Experience of code review and code refactoring with best industry practices.
  • Basic knowledge of integrating applications with single sign-on services.
  • Knowledge of software development life-cycle methodologies (e.g., Iterative, Waterfall, Agile).
  • Experience in Microsoft .NET Core / 6.0 / 7.X framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft ASP.Net, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET API, C#, and JavaScript.
  • Sound knowledge and hands-on design principles.
  • Experience on OOPS, Design Pattern, and n-tier architecture applications.
  • Knowledge of working on code repository repositories (Azure Repos, GIT).

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
