As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. You will also advise on day-to-day operational and business issues, as well as ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Drafting and reviewing contracts to protect the organization's interests.
Advising on operational and business issues, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Assisting in the management of intellectual property portfolios, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and designs.
Maintaining digital databases to ensure efficient record-keeping.
Updating stakeholders on legal developments, judicial precedents, regulatory, and compliance issues.
Assisting in knowledge management to ensure that best practices are shared across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong analytical and drafting skills, with commercial acumen and the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.
Knowledge of intellectual property laws, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and designs.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
Strong team player with a desire to learn and grow within the organization.
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and external partners.
