Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases to optimize performance, improve data quality, and ensure data security\
  • Install, upgrade, and migrate SQL Servers, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime\
  • Apply patches or service packs for SQL Server to address vulnerabilities and enhance overall system stability\
  • Configure High Availability/Disaster recovery solutions to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity\
  • Troubleshoot complex locking issues, deadlocks, blocking, and lock timeouts, using analytical and problem-solving skills\
  • Collaborate with application developers to test and optimize servers, promoting efficient data processing and improved user experience\
  • Deploy database objects efficiently, streamlining development and deployment processes\
  • Provide exceptional day-to-day support for high OLTP HA of SQL Server databases, maintaining optimal system performance\
  • Work on performance tuning, creating missing indexes, and optimizing query execution plans to enhance database performance\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, adopting new technologies and best practices to drive innovation and growth\
