About the Role:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects in the Real Estate/Luxury Villas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Selection: The Quantity Surveyor will choose materials to be used and specify requirements for the project, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: The Quantity Surveyor will identify and resolve problems that may arise during construction, ensuring that the project stays on track.
  • Inspections and Evaluations: The Quantity Surveyor will inspect, supervise, check, and evaluate construction works on site, verifying quality standards and certifying work done according to specifications.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: The Quantity Surveyor will prepare project time schedules and cost budgets, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordination and Communication: The Quantity Surveyor will coordinate with consultants, vendors, site engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Design and Drafting Skills: Excellent design and drafting skills, proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD), and strong mathematical skills are essential for this role.
  • Project Management: Organizational, project management, and planning skills are necessary to ensure successful project completion.
  • Quality Control: Proven working experience as a quality surveyor, tendering for new projects, and bill certification of vendors are required.
  • Travel Requirements: The Quantity Surveyor should be willing to travel across India to support project needs.
