Monitoring Engineer Role:

We are seeking an efficient and competent Monitoring Engineer with specific skill sets and experience to excel in our 24x7 environment.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, acknowledging, and proactively alerting customers throughout the shift.
  • They must have excellent communication skills in English for troubleshooting with clients, ISPs, and vendors.
  • A strong understanding of Jira ticketing tools for raising cases and notifying onsite teams is essential.
  • The successful candidate should be well-versed in setting up alerts in Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and monitoring the entire network environment, including WAN, APs, Routers, and Switches.
  • Extensive experience in integrating and setting up Datadog agents on QNAP NAS, Print server Host, and VM devices (Linux and Windows-based) using Datadog agents is required.
  • Proficiency in configuring Datadog collectors, forwarders, APM agents, and datadog.yaml files is necessary.
  • Experience in setting up On/Off call shifts with Escalation Policy adjustments in Pager Duty is also required.
  • Relevant hands-on experience in PagerDuty setup with Datadog and Meraki Dashboard is essential.
  • This role does not involve DevOps responsibilities. Confident candidates with relevant experience may apply.
