Responsibilities


•Develop, test, maintain, document, and release software solutions according to a new Epic/Capability.


•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements which need to be analyzed and implemented as solutions.


•Provide technical estimates for Capabilities/Features and implement the corresponding solutions.


•Manage multiple software components and competence areas.


•Design embedded code in C++ language from software requirement specifications, candidates are expected to have good knowledge of C++ standards (99, 11, 14, and 17).


•Experience in UML – Model based SW Development is an added advantage (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody)


•Perform troubleshooting in application SW, drivers, BSP, OS, middle ware software.


•Develop unit tests, verify software functionality using various testing tools.


•Document software code to ensure its release for use in ECU.


•Adhere to predetermined work processes to comply with industry standards.


•Suggest and implement improvements in the software development process/environment.

Required Competencies


•4-8 years of experience in embedded software development using C++.


•Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).


•Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or Electronics/Communication or Electrical Engineering.


•Experience in working with continuous integration environments using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory.


•Experience in Linux/QNX or any other Real-Time Operating System.


•Knowledge of AUTOSAR and Vector tool chain (e.g., GENy, Candela Studio, Configurator Pro).


•Knowledge of CAN protocols (e.g., J1939, J1587, and ISO) and relevant tools (Canalyzer and CANOE).


•Knowledge in ECU diagnostics using ISO14229 – UDS on CAN protocol.

•Genuine interest in Vehicle Connectivity/Telematics for Automotive domain.


•Experience in Agile/SAFe way of working in software development.


•Proficiency in Microcontrollers (e.g., i.MX controllers and its variants).


•Someone who enjoys working in a Global Organization with cross-functional interaction.
