At PeopleLogic, we're on the lookout for a seasoned GIS professional to spearhead our geographic information systems development efforts. Based in Hyderabad, this role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive our IT services forward.

With a salary range of ₹25-35 lakhs per annum, this position demands competitive compensation to attract top talent in the market. As a GIS Engineer at PeopleLogic, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various industries, including finance, education, insurance, retail, energy, life science, and healthcare.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Portal, Server, SDK, Engine, and ArcTool building using ArcPy. Experience with ESRI JavaScript API, Portal - Data Publishing & Managing, WAB, and Widgets building is also essential. Handling databases, particularly SQL Server, is a must-have skill in this role.

While a background in data migration using Arcpy or JavaScript, ArcFME, or Telecom domain expertise (Fibre network) is a plus, we're looking for a professional who can thrive in an Agile-based working environment. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for publishing and managing data, building widgets, and working on various ArcGIS-related projects.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, and Portal
  • Developing custom ArcGIS tools using ArcPy
  • Building web applications using ESRI's JavaScript API
  • Managing and publishing data on the Portal
  • Working on database-related tasks using SQL Server
