Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role should have 0-3 years of experience in US GAAP general accounting.

  • Collect tax forms and track client paperwork.
  • Prepare tax returns.
  • Produce tax reports.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project deliverables and client engagements.
  • Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns.
  • Assist experienced associates drive deliverables.
  • Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
  • Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's degree in accounting with US taxation experience.
  • Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification or progress towards certification - preferred.
  • Skilled at building client rapport and working relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
