Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team as a Front End software engineer.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high quality software solutions using different web technologies and contributing to the development of cutting-edge web applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality software that meets requirements and promotes re-use of software components.
  • Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices.
  • Utilize software-based system maintenance and tracking tools.
  • Provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials, and customer training.
  • Conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
  • Implement software mechanisms to improve code stability, performance, and reusability.
  • Create high fidelity estimates of own work efforts.
  • Apply good debugging and troubleshoot techniques to understand and resolve defects found in software.
  • Creates high quality documentation as required like functional specifications; component test specification, and integration test specifications.
  • Learns and applies test methodology, processes, procedures, standards, and tools used by the team.
  • Practices Agile development principles with Scrum.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Year of related experience with Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Strong Web development skills using HTML5/CSS3, Native JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, and other web server technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Designer Specialty Retail and Food & Drug POS solutions.
  • Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations.
  • Experience with Cloud development.
  • Experience working on one of the cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google).

Working Environment: This role is based in Ahmedabad, IN.
