We are looking for a Java developer who welcomes both engineering and maintenance tasks. The primary focus will be to develop and maintain Java microservices and features together with automated unit and integration tests.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new features
  • Java Springboot microservices
  • Ensuring the best performance
  • Focusing on code quality, writing clean, readable, and testable code
  • Cooperating with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 4-7 years of work experience in Java Springboot, with REST API's and microservice development
  • Extensive knowledge about Java API development, from the first line of code to publishing
  • Deep working knowledge of Java, Springboot, Microservice architecture
  • Proficiency with writing automated tests in JUnit and other unit testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
  • Familiarity with the JSON format
  • Experience with profiling and debugging applications
  • Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
  • Familiarity with Git usage
  • Proficiency in Java
  • Integration with Third party APIs & other frameworks, libraries, or other technologies
