Instrumentation Specialist

About the Role:

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced instrumentation specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing, assigning and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzers, and control systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers)
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Develop and standardize instrumentation maintenance procedures and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Perform hazard analysis and ensure compliance with international instrumentation standards.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of instrumentation technology and related software
  • Understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician with understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation.
  • Hazardous area classification knowledge
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
